YEAR 1 STUDIES

It takes 1 year of training for students to complete this course and to achieve the skills required to excel in the hairdressing industry. With hard work and application, our training will enable students to develop their own flair, artistry and personality in preparation for developing their career further on the National Certificate in Hairdressing Year 2 studies.

Entry requirement:
  • Pass Servilles internal English language test or Achieve IELTS 5.5
All applicants aged 16 or over will be considered
 
Course Hours
Study hours are Tuesday to Friday from 8.45am until 4.15pm.  Monday is a self-directed study day used for projects and assignments.

Fee Protection
Student fees will be held in trust in compliance with Section 236A of the Education Act 1989 as amended by the Education Act (No 4) 1991.

Withdrawal Procedures

If a student wishes to withdraw from a course after payment of any monies (in full or part) they are required to do so in writing to the Academy manger no later than 7 working days after the course commencement.  
 
If a student withdraws within 7 working days of the first day of the course they will be entitled to, upon return of all equipment, a full refund of all monies minus a $500 administration fee.
