International Women's Day
It's International Women's Day, a special day to celebrate amazing women all around the world! Today, we want to talk about some awesome ladies who are making their mark in the world of Barbering.
At Servilles Hair Academy, we're all about empowering women to follow their dreams and achieve success in the beauty industry. We take pride in providing a welcoming environment where women can learn, grow, and connect with others who share their passion.
This International Women’s Day is all about DigitALL: Inclusivity and Technology for Gender Equality. This is why we would like to highlight two Servilles Academy Alumni Female Barbers, and one current Servilles Academy Female Student Barber, who have risen above gender norms to pursue their passion for barbering.
First up is Becca Choi, a talented barber at The Gentry in Auckland. Becca graduated from Servilles Academy and has been crushing it ever since. She works alongside other skilled female barbers, proving that women are just as capable as men in the field. Her dedication to her craft and exceptional grooming services have earned her a loyal following.
Next up is Vanessa Hurley, the Creative Director and Founder of Lady Barber.
Vanessa is a superstar in the world of barbering, and she's broken down barriers and paved the way for women to succeed in a male-dominated industry. She's the only female barber in her area, but that hasn't stopped her from being the best of the best. Vanessa's inclusive approach to her clientele is truly remarkable. Regardless of gender or identity, Vanessa welcomes everyone into her shop with open arms. Her commitment to providing a safe and welcoming space for all is a testament to her empathy and understanding. She wants everyone to feel comfortable and confident in their appearance, and her commitment to inclusivity is truly inspiring. Vanessa shows that empathy and understanding can make the world a better place.
Last but not least is our current student Isabella.
Isabella is breaking gender barriers in the field of barbering. Isabella is the only female student in her class, but she's determined to succeed and passionate about her craft. She's shown exceptional skills in her training so far, and we can’t wait to see what is coming up for her.
On this International Women's Day, we want to celebrate all the extraordinary women out there who are making a difference. Whether you're a student, a professional, or someone who's passionate about the beauty industry, we believe that every woman has the power to achieve amazing things. We're here to support and empower you every step of the way. Here's to all the amazing women out there!
