We Are Hiring: Barber Educator
Servilles Academy established in 1993 by Paul Serville (Founder and Director) who has over 50 years of experience in the industry. Our passion for hair, makeup and barbering takes centre stage and we are dedicated to providing our students with the skills and knowledge to succeed in the industry.
Currently looking for two educators one in hairdressing and one in barbering to join our team. Role includes
Educate, support and develop the students to reach their potential in the Hair and Barbering industry.
Inspiring hands on teaching & delivery as per the timetable including relevant & current practical demonstrations.
Administration associated with teaching, marking, student monitoring & progress, assessment & completions.
Actively participate in professional development opportunities and maintaining a strong working knowledge of the hair and or industry.
Promote equality treating everyone with fairness and dignity and honouring Te Tiriti.
Qualifications & experience
New Zealand Certificate in Hairdressing Professional Stylist (Level 4) and/or Commercial Barbering (Level 4) or equivalent
NZ Certificate in Adult Teaching Level 4 (a bonus but not essential)
NZ Certificate in Adult Numeracy and Literacy (bonus but not essential)
Relevant time and experience in Hair/Barber industry
Full induction and training provided
Location: Auckland City, Auckland
Job type: Full time
Duration: Permanent
Approximate pay: $50K - $70K annually
